Ancma (Associazione Nazionale Ciclo Motociclo e Accessori) is the Association of Italian manufacturers of Bicycles, Motorcycles, Helmets, Accessories and Components. It has as members 170 companies, that have an annual overall turnover of about 4,500,000,000 Euro. They directly employ about 16,000 people, and a further 80,000 indirectly. In order to achieve its institutional aims, Ancma promotes studies, research, advertising campaigns. Ancma representatives also take part in boards, administrations, institutions, commissions, even at community and international levels.

BISED (Turkish Bicycle Industry Association) was founded on 07.08.2008 in order to represent the bicycle industry before the governmental associations as well as official and unofficial corporations, to contribute to the developments within the sector, to contribute to the technical, economic and legal issues. BISED also informs their members about national and international standards. The members of BISED are bicycle manufacturers, spare parts' manufacturers and importers. The production volume of the association members make up almost the whole of the bicycles industry volume in Turkey. (In Turkey 950,000 pcs of bicycles are being manufactured including children bicycles). The President of the association is Önder Senkon (Bianchi Bisiklet A.Ţ.). The members of the executive board are: Nurettin Türkyýlmaz (Bisan A.Ţ.), Bayram Akgül (Saco Bisiklet Ltd), Metin Cengiz (Ebsat Ltd) and Ümit Özgül (Ümit Bisiklet A.ţ.).

Z.I.V. (German Association of the two-wheeler and parts' industry) represents the interests of the German bicycle, bicycle parts and small motorcycle and scooter industries.The association has 83 direct members plus 18 members through the corporate association 'Zweirad Groß- und Aussenhandelsverband e. V.' (Association of importers and wholesalers of bicycles and bicycle parts).
The aim of the ZIV is to establish definite and unique general set-ups for the members; political lobby engagement on national and European level to improve the usage of bicycles and to increase the market.
